The port has launched eight routes to Southeast Asia and South Asia, including Hanoi, Delhi, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok, with more than 70 weekly flights. Over half the cargo comes from e commerce and manufacturing hubs in Dongguan and Foshan. Officials said the port complements the Greater Bay Area’s airport cluster and will expand flights to Southeast Asia, the Middle East and South Asia to build a “four-hour logistics circle” in the region.
